First Impressions + Permissions Post

☄ First Impressions ♚ VISUAL: Obvious blond hair and green eyes aside, McGillis looks pretty well-groomed and handsome, and he looks like he definitely pumps iron on his spare time. At 6'1" he can definitely give an impression, although he's not exactly intimidating, even if he can be commanding. Alas, the curse of being an anime pretty boy. ♚ FASHION: He'll usually wear his nice, clean military uniform. Otherwise, he tends to favour dress shirts and dress pants over something too casual, and he generally gives off a professional air. ♚ DEMEANOUR: Again, he maintains professionalism very well, so he has good posture  and is quite good at staying with typical social cues such as maintaining eye contact while conversing and such. With that said, he's not stiff, either; he'll show interest in others and he knows how to interact with people politely, so he'll be pretty approachable, even if he won't usually drop formalities unless someone insists on it. His movements also show him to be quite well-bred; I mean the top image is him sipping tea and shit, how much more gentlemanly do you want him to be? ♚ SOUND: His Japanese VA is Takahiro Sakurai, while his English VA is Steve Staley. I generally go by his English VA, has a bit of a softer element to it. He also sounds pretty dignified imo? Either way, he generally maintains a level and calm tone although he can occasionally come off as kind of condescending and slightly punchable.   ♚ SCENT: He has good hygiene, so he'll probably smell a bit like whatever the laundry detergent smells like here? If he was at home he might have a bit of cologne and such, but he probably won't bother with that here. ♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: He's perfectly normal but he would hate you so much if you read his mind?? ♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: He's 100% normal human here... good thing everyone else is nerfed to hell anyways? ☄ OOC ♚ BACKTAGGING: I'll prioritize current week things, but I generally try to keep backtagging forever; feel free to poke me if you specifically want to continue a thread! ♚ FOURTHWALLING: I'd prefer not to have this happen, please! ♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Feel free! That's not to say he'll actually respond, but he won't punch anyone for trying or anything. It's pretty likely they'll get politely rebuffed, regardless. ♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: I'm open to fights and such, but drop me a line first if you want to do something like that. He pretty much won't start fights though, although he does have enough military training and reflexes to put up some resistance if he has to defend himself. ♚ RELATIONSHIPS: OOCly, I'm okay with it, but ICly he's actually engaged already and not really interested in a romantic relationship.
